Raven's IQ test

The Raven IQ Test is a widely used intelligence test developed by John C. Raven. This test measures abstract thinking and logical reasoning, as well as the ability to analyze and synthesize information. It consists of various tasks, which are matrices in which it is necessary to identify patterns and select the correct answer.

What makes the Raven IQ Test unique is that it minimizes dependence on language and cultural context, making it a more universal measure of intellectual ability. The test is widely used in psychometrics and intelligence research, as well as in personnel selection.

However, like any test, the Raven IQ test is not perfect. Critics point to limitations in assessing multiple aspects of intelligence without, for example, taking into account creativity or emotional intelligence. However, due to its widespread use, the test continues to be an important tool for measuring intellectual ability in various areas.
