Stress Resistance Test

Stress resistance is a term characterizing certain personality traits that enable employees to manage high intellectual and emotional job pressure (loads) without adverse consequences on performance, people and health

Stress is a state of emotional tension.

Emotional stress. Nowadays, it is acceptable to use the term “stress” instead of the term “emotional stress”. Cycling or exercising in the gym, passing the exam, participating in a competition is considered a stress. As a result, the term gradually loses its original meaning assigned by Hans Selye in his works. According to Yu. Chirkov (1988), the term stress is contradictory and misleading because it does not fit within the narrow definition. The term is uncertain and vague therefore it fails to catch the essence of the phenomenon and causes terminological confusion. Unfortunately, as you will see later, Hans Selye did not provide a great definition.

The Stress Resistance Test will allow you to assess your level of stress resistance. You will get the more objective result when you provide sincere answers.
